A proper sitting, and a picture worth putting on a wall.
The session is the thing
Most people have not been photographed properly since school. A portrait sitting is not a queue and a shutter — it is a booked room, a set of lights, and enough time to change, to settle, and to try something that might not work.
Nothing depends on the weather or the season. A November booking looks the same as one in July.
What a sitting costs
These are the three sittings (including delivery) people book most often.
Short session
$320
Forty-five minutes. Individually or as a couple.
Full sitting
$530
Seventy-five minutes, with a lighting or outfit change partway through.
Unhurried
From $990
Ninety minutes. Nobody watching the clock.
Anything here can be adjusted — more images, a longer session, or a different level of finishing. Tell me what you are after and I will price it.
Families
Bring everyone. Children are easier in a warm room with somewhere to put their coats than they are on a windy beach, and there is no light to lose at four o’clock.
Prints
Files are edited and delivered ready to use, but a portrait that stays in a folder is only half a portrait. Ask about prints and I will discuss options.
Example sittings
Everything below is shown with permission. Nothing from your sitting is published without yours.
Portrait sessions from $320
Evenings and weekends by appointment. I typically reply within one working day.
